MEET CODY

MY PHILOSOPHY

I have a passion for capturing unique love stories with a creative flair. My goal is to create a beautiful collection of imagery that not only tells the story & details of your day but also shows the emotional connections. From kisses on the cheek by family to sweet laughter & embraces from dear friends, I’m here to capture the biggest day of your lives, as you remember it.

Let’s discuss what’s important to you. How do you want your day to feel like? There’s always been pressure to have that “fairytale wedding”, but I’m telling you - be true to yourselves and that dream will become reality. Get married under your favorite childhood tree or overlooking the ocean where you shared your first kiss. Dance to that song that came on the radio that made you both laugh until it hurt. Let me tell your authentic love story.

FAQ

HOW DO WE BOOK?

I require a signed contract & 30% retainer to book your date. The rest of the payment is due 30 days before you wed.

WHEN & HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?

Online wedding galleries are delivered within 8 weeks time. On average you will receive 80-100 edited photos per hour of coverage. The number fluctuates for each event, but I assure you I will not withhold any of your priceless memories. I do not send clients RAW images, as I believe editing is half the magic.

Which package should we get? SECOND SHOOTER?

I recommend going with an 8 hour package and second shooter, which gives a comfortable amount of time to tell the story of your event from beginning to end. Additional hours can also be added, even on the day of! Having a second shooter can be a valuable addition, and I always recommend it whenever possible. An extra person capturing those special moments and assisting on photo ops is never a bad idea.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A PHOTOGRAPHER?

I’ve been photographing since getting my first DSLR camera in 2010. Since then I have worked for National Geographic photographer Steve McCurry, as Art Director for Grey Advertising, as well as Associate Photo Editor for Down East Magazine. My passion for wedding photography grew in 2016 and I’ve never been happier telling new love stories.

WHAT IF YOU CAN’T MAKE IT?

I’ve never missed a wedding, and I don’t plan on that ever changing [knock on wood]. In a worst case scenario you would be fully refunded. I am in contact with an extensive network of photographers to insure you’ll be fully covered no matter what emergency may come up, and will do everything in my power to find a replacement, although I’m not legally held to do so.

BAD WEATHER?

Always have a rain plan. If you’re having an outdoor ceremony, make sure there’s a tent or indoor option. On the bright side, rain can bring a magical quality to wedding photos as well as a sign of good luck in many cultures!

WHAT IF OUR DATE CHANGES?

A small transfer fee will be applied if I am available for the new date after booking a previous date. If for some reason I’m not available, the retainer paid is non-refundable. This is all outlined in the contract.

What Kind of Photo equipment do you use?

I shoot with the latest photography gear from Nikon. I have backup cameras, flashes & lenses to insure I provide top quality imagery as well as never missing a shot. I work with a double camera harness with two cameras on me at all times.

TRAVEL EXPENSES?

I require my flight, transportation & stay be covered for travel outside of Maine, and I will take care of the rest! I can book my own travel & accommodations - but I’m happy to save you money whenever possible. If you have an extra room or can pick me up from the airport to avoid a rental car fee, I’m all for it! Travel invoices are due within 1 week after confirmation.
